Advantages
CLI RP 21C allows for high-thickness application in vertical and overhead situations. It has extremely low permeability, offering maximum protection against carbon dioxide and chlorides. The product bonds excellently to concrete substrates and is shrinkage compensated, ensuring long-term stability. Supplied in pre-weighted, pre-packed condition, CLI RP 21C requires only the addition of water at the site during mixing. It contains no chlorides, making it a safe choice for concrete repair.
Application Methodology
Prepare the repair area by cutting edges to at least 10mm depth to prevent feathering. Break out the area to a minimum of 10mm, clean thoroughly, and moisten the surface without leaving standing water.
Apply primer, then mix 2.75L of water with the supplied liquid polymer while gradually adding CLI RP 21C powder. Mix for 2-3 minutes, adding water if needed (max 3.25L). Apply the mortar to the primed surface using a trowel or gloved hand, ensuring thorough compaction, especially around exposed reinforcement.
