Technical Characteristics

Turf Glue MN 50 is a two-component polyurethane adhesive system consisting of Part A (thick paste) and Part B (fluid hardener). Once mixed, the adhesive forms a uniform and easy-to-apply consistency with excellent tensile and tear strength. The formulation is designed to perform effectively even on slightly damp surfaces while ensuring strong adhesion and long-term durability. Turf Glue MN 50 complies with international synthetic sports surface requirements.

Preparation and Application

Ensure the substrate is structurally sound, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, or contaminants.

• Remove any standing water before application.
• Artificial turf should be properly unrolled and acclimatized before installation.
• Turf Glue MN 50 is supplied in pre-measured containers with a mixing ratio of 90:10 (Part A : Part B by weight).
• Stir Part A thoroughly before adding Part B.
• Use a low-speed mechanical mixer (300–400 rpm) and mix for 3–5 minutes until a uniform consistency is achieved.
• Avoid partial mixing as incorrect proportions may affect curing and performance.

Application

1. Apply the mixed adhesive evenly over the seaming tape using a notched trowel.
2. Lay the artificial turf within 40–45 minutes after mixing.
3. Apply mechanical pressure using a roller to ensure complete adhesion between turf backing and substrate.
4. Can also be used for bonding prefabricated rubber mats.

Curing Time

Initial Setting: Approximately 2 hours

Final Setting: Approximately 4 hours

Light Foot Traffic: 12–24 hours

Full Cure: Approximately 7 days
