Carbolink PU Clear Coat T-71 is a polyurethane, two-component, solvent-based coating with a semi-matte finish, designed for outdoor sports surfaces. It is applied as a final sealing layer on top of playground floorings made of SBR rubber granules plus PU binder mixture, or EPDM plus PU binder mixture, safety tiles, and polyurethane outdoor/indoor sports systems such as SPU K-17/10+2mm PU System.

Preparation and Application

Ensure surfaces are dry and free of materials that might prevent bonding, such as dust, loose particles, and grease.
Clean the surface thoroughly using a vacuum cleaner and squeegees.
Ensure the temperature of the support surface and ambient air remains above 15°C during application and curing, with relative humidity not exceeding 75%.
Thoroughly stir component A, then add hardener (component B) while continuing to stir until a homogeneous mix is obtained.
Apply using an airless sprayer or a short-haired mohair roller in two crossing layers.

Storage

Store in unopened containers in dry places.
Temperature range: 5°C to 30°C (avoid sunlight).
Shelf life: 12 months.
