Features & Benefits
Granuseal 41(S) is a premium, color-enhancing penetrating sealer that offers maximum protection against most common stains. It is
resistant to ultraviolet light and will darken and rejuvenate the surface appearance of unsealed natural stones. The product revitalizes
old and worn stone and tile installations and is easy to use with a one-step process for color enhancement and sealing. It does not alter
the slip resistance of the surface and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
Where to Use
Granuseal 41(S) is ideal for use on unsealed flamed, honed, tumbled, and rough-textured natural stone such as marble, granite, slate,
limestone, sandstone, and travertine. It is also suitable for use on pavers, concrete, bricks, quarry tiles, and cementitious grout.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is dry and free of contaminants, including previously applied sealers, dirt, lime and hard-water deposits, rust, and
other heavy soil and grime. Allow new grout installations to cure for at least 48 hours before applying the sealer. The surface should be
dry for 24 to 72 hours before application, and the temperature of both the surface and sealer should be between 50°F and 80°F (10°C
and 26°C). Ensure the area is well-ventilated during application and until the surface is dry.
Product Application
Always test the product first in several inconspicuous areas and wait 12 hours to confirm desired results. Shake the container before
using. Avoid skin and eye contact by wearing chemical-resistant gloves and safety glasses. Begin with a clean, dry surface that is free
of existing waxes, coatings, and sealers. Protect baseboards and tape off surfaces not intended to be sealed. Working in a small,
manageable area of about 15 sq. ft. (1.39 m²), liberally apply an even coat using a paint pad, sponge, brush, or roller. Allow up to 5
minutes for the sealer to soak into the surface. Remove all non-absorbed sealer from the surface by buffing until dry with a clean towel.
Do not allow the sealer to dry completely on the surface. If a second coat is needed, repeat the application process after 30 minutes. Do
not use or walk on the surface for at least 8 hours. For best results and stain protection, keep the area dry for 12 hours and free from
staining materials for 3 days. Drying time may vary depending on environmental conditions
Close the container tightly after each use. Store in the original container only, between temperatures of 35°F and 90°F (2°C and 32°C).
Do not allow the product to freeze.
